Do you have a backup plan for the OS and your data?

You can add a few browser extensions for Chrome:
- AdBlock or AdBlock Plus
- HTTPS Everywhere ( https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere )

Looking for a secure password manager?
- LastPass ( https://lastpass.com )
One of many benefits include checking if your sites are affected by HeartBleed or involved in a security breach (aka LastPass Sentry)

Other extensions:
- ZenMate for Secure Browsing ( https://zenmate.com )

Very useful post right here & i agree with this 130%.

What should I do to improve this?

Very simple but solid setup.

Like toffee, I'm neither a professional nor do have nearly as much experience as many of our knowledgeable Teachers here,

...but as one of their pupils I can say I currently use each of the listed security extensions Huracan has so kindly (& completely) prescribed for your Chrome Browser. I'll mention one detail about adblock or adblock plus which are both equally effective. Under options, in addition to the recommended defaults under "subscriptions", mark the subscription worded as either "Malware Protection" or "Block Malware". Your system shall remain light, lean, ..not mean.., but rather Good!;):D
Thanks for sharing your configuration!:)
