While testing malwares in VMware I just disable drag n drop guset 2 host or host 2 guest machine. After all virtual machines are kind of quarantine itself. Hope it clears.

I am a ESET user and I make sure to enable all related modules to prevent any mishap. Before any test I do create a restore point to prevent any accidental damage.
