RE: Technology's Configaration

That's a nice config! All I can suggest is a password manager but not everyone likes using those.

I'm always curious when I see different PDF readers. Why do you prefer Foxit over your web browsers, Chrome and Windows Store version?

Thanks. :D

RE: Technology's Configaration (updated_20/7/2013)

I have tried v6 before, but found it too much for my needs, as viewing is all I require. But must be great for you and others who use those features, plus it's modern UI with a classic UI available.

Thanks for the reply. :D

RE: Technology's Configaration (updated_20/7/2013)

updated:

removed: Secunia PSI
cons: it's not perfect and does not support as much software as SUMo

Added:
1- Software Update Monitor Lite (SUMo): after testing it

Pros :
1- faster than Secunia's PSI
2- informs you of updates to software that is not limited to security updates (such as PSI) or availablity on FileHippo
3- lets you add or remove programs to the list it scans for updates

cons:
the result you obtain by clicking on the "Update" link for new software. Whereas PSI and Update Checker take you directly to a download page, SUMo takes you to a webpage with usage statistics about recent versions of the program, and displays the number of users who use each version. Although that may be interesting, there is no direct link to a download page, SUMo's page gives you links to five major download sites' search pages (which sometimes do not work with the information supplied by SUMo)

2- MaskMe extension

How did you find BDAV+? I found it slowed down browsing and drastically slowed down boot time.

MBAM Pro isn't an Antivirus, just FYI.
