The Avast BETA Program

Hi,

here I would like to explain how the beta program works.

How to participate in the beta program?

1. Download the beta installers:


2. After installation you will see "BETA" sign next to the product name in GUI - this indicates that you are on the beta channel

3. On beta channel we release new versions more frequently (usually once a week) and they are being delivered automatically, that means that Avast should be always running on the latest version (you can turn this off via Settings->Update->Program

4. If you find any bug or issue, please report it either via the feedback from directly in Avast, or make a new thread in this forum section.

5. If you with to switch back to the stable channel, then please uninstall the Avast beta version, restart PC and install the latest stable version from the links below:

i heard you have to use your own license for the paid versions? if yes , it is just trash, you take the risk to ruin your system and at your own expenses , they won't gives you a key like all others do...

Yes you need to use your own license, but you can always get a copy of it from Avast.

Also if you participate its at your own risk, and everyone should know that Betas can lead to a broken OS anyway.

Well for some people it can be impractical but considering its a beta phase then, that logic will make you think to test a premature product which need a little effort to validate it.
