i agree, the only thing i don't like very much with Vbulletin is the high impact of FPs in their rating... one FP and the software is done.

Well even though there are some possibilities of flaws, really does influence by the users to decide and used the products, so it goes from us to test and down for its conclusion.

Not only PCmag, but also av-test, Vbulletin and av-comparatives are sites that I tend not to trust. If I am wrong correct me.

You are basically correct the main difference with VirusBulletin is they verify that all samples used in their testing is actual malware not false positives and that the malware samples are still active and widespread within the last 90 days. They take these extra steps to make sure their testing is more accurate.

However in order to get the full reports and download the samples they require you to have a paid subscription to their service. The yearly subscription costs $175.00 on sale now for $99.00 which is very pricy.

Many PC geeks will pay that price in order to get full reports and download samples. So their financial supports comes from their subscription service, Conference and Seminar unlike other testing sites which are supported by the AV vendors.

So I would trust VirusBulletin more then the other testing sites but still wouldn't trust their results to be 100% accurate because they also have flaws.

Thanks.:D
Someone's said in a security forum that in VB money they play a dirty game. You cannot be sure what's truth of course for many reasons.. :)

IMO, some cases they will deny the issue represented by the testing organization or ignore it so the result is still a mystery behind of all tactics.

I really think F-Secure is the new star with its great defenses, including its "Deep Guard" HIPS feature.

I saw where BitDefender has a "paranoid mode" in its firewall. I wonder if that is HIPS or BB, or just an overzealous firewall mode?

Wich IS ist better F-Secure IS 2013 or Emsisoft Internet Security Pack?

You would have to go and test it for yourself to find out.

Years ago, I wouldn't have touched Norton with a barge pole. However, I love Norton 360 and have been using it for a long time and it's true - install and forget. Never had any bugs or problems, it runs in the background and doesn't take over my computer, my opinion but I think:) it's great.
