Advice Request The best program to protect the Web camera from intruders?

Please provide comments and solutions that are helpful to the author of this topic.
Sorry, but I remembered this topic when I participated in the Softonic forum in Spanish ... and such Angel Aguirre said that the best thing for webcams was...
P_125249610FM.jpg when you finish using the webcam you cover it with that:D

The best thing you can do to prevent an intruder from accessing your web-cam is to not have one present in the first place. If you disable the web-cam device from Device Manager, a backdoor can allow an intruder to just re-enable the device (for example).

If you have a laptop with a built-in web-cam then disable the device in Device Manager and cover the web-cam lens with thick tape when you're not using it. If you have a desktop, then you'll have a portable web-cam and you can unplug it when you do not need to use it (attack vector gone).

You can rely on security software to shield you from intruders trying to access your web-cam (e.g. Avast recently rolled out such functionality) but I wouldn't count on it. I'd rather be safe than sorry and just use a portable one which can be unplugged, or cover up the built-in one on the laptop.

hahahahaha

or you put an ugly and gross naked picture in front of it, 100% guarantee hackers will look elsewhere , unless you stumbled upon a deviant one LOL
I have sometimes forgotten to remove the tape before having a Skype call so that might not be a good idea :p:ROFLMAO:

The question was "how to protect web camera" not "how to blind" :sneaky:
Who Stalks My Cam could be a good option but the best app to manage access of installed/detected applications to conected camera is of course SpyShelter :geek:
