It was only yesterday that Lulzsec made an announcement that they were calling it quits. The group stated that after 50 days of exposing many different companies and government agencies, they were shutting things down and calling it a day.

There has been a lot of speculation as to why the group would shut things down so quickly, although they did expose several more groups on their last day. A posting on Pastebin (via Reddit) may shine a little bit of light on why the group so quickly up and left. According to the post, The A-Team claims to have all the information on most of the members of Lulzsec.

Also, neowin post is just copy paste. Go on to a post that has more of its own opinion like osnews. http://www.osnews.com/story/24887/LulzSec_Calls_it_Quits
Much more detail at osnews. Neowin does not even mention the Arizona hack.

Some interesting info in the Pastebin though. Only time will tell if it's accurate, but through dealings with Anon on one of my Twitter accounts I believe the Pastebin info is correct about Lulzsec. http://pastebin.com/iVujX4TR

Well now they can run and hide under there rocks. :)
This guys will most likely join Anonymous or another hack group.
As for the disbandment of Lulzsec was most likely caused by the personal information released by rival hackers and the LulzSec hacker arrested, that supposedly was the mastermind behind this hacking group .

some "hackers" are just bored kids who play with hacking tools developped by true hackers; true ones can never be catched or exposed unless some major gov. agencies actively dispatch high ressources and personels for hunting them. more they show off more jealous rivals groups may exposed them.

FBI searches LulzSec suspect's home in Hamilton, Ohio

The international investigation into the notorious LulzSec hacking gang continues, with news that FBI agents have searched a house in Hamilton, Ohio.

According to local media reports, federal agents are said to have searched a teenager's home in Jackson Road, Hamilton, although no-one was charged after the search warrant was served.

Whether the FBI was acting upon information gleaned from Ryan Cleary, the British teenager who was charged last week in relation to a series of denial-of-service attacks, is unclear.

However, there is speculation that US law enforcement officers may have been acting in part based upon information released by the LulzSec group earlier this group, outing members believed to have leaked the group's private online chat logs.

Most likely Ryan Cleary said everything he knew to the FBI.....
Lulzsec members have now joined Anonymous,so a good option for the FBI would be now to let them operate and just survey their actions....and once they will have enough evidence and information on Anonymous they can bring down this group also.
