personnaly i use 7zip since ages on x64 systems, simple, light, fast and efficient (Avast use it on their AV).
waterfox is an optimized version of Firefox for x64 systems, it uses the same folders for settings/addons.
So you can install FF later without redownloading your addons.
Opera is also very good but lack the huge number of addons available for FF and Chrome.
For security i think that no browsers can beat Chrome (built-in sandbox/pdf reader/flash player, etc...), before i used Comodo Dragon for its security/privacy but since i can transfer Site Inspector into Chrome, i got rid of Dragon.
