No discusions about AVG Internet Security in this forum.Why? I think that it is one of best suites.

avg internet security is NOT worth the money , the only thing you get extra is an outbound firewall only , plus a lot of extra bloatware.....if you want to use AVG get the free version plus a free firewall ( comodo , zonealarm ) identity protection is one of the best behaviour blockers / zero day modules out there , no denying in that 
AVG is good protection, but doesn't run light on the system. You can feel it.

No one talks about AVG because it is not one of the best suites - it has a lower detection rate than Emsisoft, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, etc & is not really worth the money. There are much better options for the money & well isn't really worth using when Avast has a better GUI & detection rate & is also like the Free AVG product only better.

Seriously though, I don't run sig based AV but if I did AVG would be pretty low on my list.
Emsisoft for example would run circles around AVG any day.

I've used AVG IS 2016 for some time and some personal opinions.
Pros : real time protection seems to be rather reactive and decent detection ratio but not one of the best.
Quite light, but the scan and, above all, in presence of malware, increases a lot the consumption of RAM and CPU.
Customizable firewall.
Cons: slowness during the malware removal and AVG PC Tuneup bloatware.
Poor LinkScanner, I have tested many potentially dangerous and real phishing websites and it has low detection ratio.

Not true. TuneUp Utilities was crap before, they almost changed nothing. it destroyed so much systems before avg buyed it there was not a single diverent just the name.
