low detection antivirus(antivirus) + great firewall is unbalance, because antivirus is the main role play in security while firewall is just prevent hackers access to your PC. If your antivirus have low detection and let the malware execute successfully, then having a great firewall is just going to be futile. Some malware have ability to disable the system from running certain known anti malware tools to remove it, so pretty much the firewall is not going to save you if your antivirus which is the main defense line let the malware execute successfully.

Outpost Security Suite has won five VB100 awards in a row, which means its performance is endorsed by a respected independent software testing organization.

It also has one of the best software firewall so the configuration that you proposed is more than adequate for the protection of your computer.
Obviously in a context determined by the common sense because the weak point of the story is always the user.

If you play with malware it's better to use a Virtual Machine like VMWare or Virtualbox.

You state you have been infection free for the past 3 or 4 years despite testing malwares. During the entire time you have been using the combo. In my estimation you have no need to change.

I would bet that Sandboxie is the primary reason your system has had no persistent infection. Outpost and Malwarebytes provide a decent base-line protection.

If you start to think that you can somehow create an "Impenetrable Fortress" then you will do nothing but drive yourself nuts and be bitterly disappointed in the end.

I am an adherent to the anti-executable + virtualization + outbound firewall protection model. If you want to further lock-down your system I would recommend the freeware anti-executable NoVirusThanks Exe Radar Pro. It is light on resources and the user interface is easy to use.

Unless you are experiencing performance or compatibility issues then I can see no reason to change your config. If, on the other hand, you are bored with it, well, I understand why you would want to change... :D

Agree. Anti-executable is really very good for 0-day malware and exploits. Another recommendation is VoodooShield which is simple to use. You could also check files on VirusTotal through it.

MBAM-> good detection/good web blocking
OutPost-> great HIPS,great firewall
good detection+good web blocking+great HIPs + great firewall----> whats your idea about its? :D
but better choice is: use out post firewall + MBAM
2 active realtime make your system slow :(

Is Agnitum Outpost Security Suite + Sandboxie + Malwarebytes Ant-malware enough?

Let's not ignore Sandboxie. It can be your strongest defence when used correctly.

Isolation of your browsing habits from the rest of your system, with any Anti-virus or Suite of your choice.

If you use Sandboxie for almost everything, then Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium can remain optional. It's on-demand scanning capabilities are good for the weekly scan and removal of threats.

Any on demand scanners as I assume those listed in on demand are your real time protection?
Any kind of backup plan?
Privacy software?
Browsers and browser extensions?
Please edit your config with more details

Agnitum Firewall capabilities are already superb at all with matching corresponding color of interactive popups which helps you to decide more on the File information.

In the case of antivirus, consider multi AV engine based like SecureAplus or choose one of the respective common AV that you know very well.

Other than that follow other suggestions as mentioned.

I have ever heard OFP but have not tried it. Could any one compare OFP with CFW? I mean the advantages and disadvantages.:)
