I would set UAC to default/high level. I learned, thanks to this forum and the community, that UAC is a strong and important layer of security for any pc, especially in the case of a shared machine

yes you should use some backup, unless you are a fanatic of the fresh reinstallation of a clean Windows ^^

Nice configuration!
Tip:Winpatrol (free=OK) is a musthave:avoid a load of programs trying to load on startup:just click NO when watchdog Scotty warns you!
Tip 2:Try Palemoon 64:the speedy version of Firefox.
Only backdraw;I can't seem to let MozBackup make a total backup,like it does with Firefox...
Have to settle with FeBe
