Hello:

My Symantec AntiVirus is detecting a Trojan and it is unable to do anything about it. Here is the screenshot:

trojan.jpg

I have used Norton Power Eraser, HitmanPro, Junkware Removal Tool, Malwarebytes Anti-malware, and I think ComboFix (before I found this forum), but none of these tools have made this notification stop. I have been getting this notification from Symantec for probably 2 months, but other than that I am not having other problems with my computer.

I have attached the logs you ask for. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, I'll be working with you :)

Forum software is kinda new, so there are still some tweaks to be added. Can you reupload your image here, and copy the link so I can see what is it about...

Then...

Download attached fixlist.txt on the same location as FRST (otherwise the fix won't work)

Open FRST, and click Fix. Attach me that report after it is finished.

PC seems clean, but let's make another check:

1. Please download ComboFix by sUBs from here and save it to your Desktop.
If you are unsure how ComboFix works please read this guide carefully.
Note: ComboFix must be downloaded to your Desktop.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Temporarily disable your AntiVirus program.
If you are unsure how to do this please read this or this Instruction.

Note: Do not forget to turn on this option after the cleaning.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Run ComboFix. Click on I Agree!

ComboFix will check if there is a newer version of ComboFix available.
Click Yes if prompted to download.
ComboFix will display DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY ON SOFTWARE.
Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue.
If Recovery Console is not installed, ComboFix will offer download & installation.
Click Yes to allow ComboFix to install Recovery Console.
Note:Do not mouse-click Combofix's window while it is running.
If you see a message like "Illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion" just restart computer once more.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
4. When the tool is finished, it will produce a log report for you. (typical location: C:\ComboFix.txt )
Attach log reports ( ComboFix.txt) back to topic.

I ran a scan and it didn't detect anything. Did the logs show that there was an infection to begin with?
