Trying Google's Pool Party

Its a kind of photo sharing app. It was developed by the Slide team. The app is currently in beta stage and invite only. It also has a web interface and the domain name is poolpartyapp.com. Nothing much know about it yet.

The interface is so minimalistic that its actually confusing. You just have to create pools(albums) and share photos with your friends and family.

TechCrunch first spotted it.

This site is giving away invitations, if anybody want they can grab from there.

This new photo sharing app for smart phones looks interesting.....
People love to "show off" pictures and the smart phones market is growing every day ..so there is no doubt this new Google product is useful. I for one don't like the dark background.. White is a much more professional color......

Also to be noted : Google covered another niche......... scary :shy: ........

yes black/dark background makes it more confusing. I am personally waiting for Google's photovine. That will be certainly better than this. I found out they already rolled out few invites for photovine. Yet to get hold of any.
