Well you can modify a reg , delete a dll and many other methods to bypass tpm without a special licensing of ltsc
Only actual positive ltsc has that it's the Microsoft approved way of making usable windows for low end systems and that it has more promised security updates (other PCs will have to upgrade to windows 12 to still get security updates once this mess comes back with a new version)

Basically a better ltsc is Linux as it has longer support then any ltsc license of windows and it doesn't have to promise updates you or forcing you to pay for licensing

And since Linux is just a kernel it can be lighter then ltsc unless you choose a heavy distribution that includes the Linux kernel
I dont install any modified OS

It's really great 👍
I personanlly added layers with comodo (auto containment), Symantec (ips, firewall) ,hitman pro alert (cryptoguard, defends against certain evasion) on the browser itself I have defender, Symantec, checkpoint (threat emulation, extraction) and performance is still better then defender

You can see here that it's pretty light on idle but even none idle state feels good

In enterprises they add more providers via checkpoint intellistore but specifically for the browser you can emulate the same by adding extensions like Symantec (has ai catagoriztion and many intelligence providers ) and it works really well as I find the aggressive catagoriztion of Symantec to check stuff checkpoint wasn't able to and it's an amazing pair for the zero pishing ai based brand clustering tech of checkpoint
Btw another tip set the extension to background mode to improve page loading in checkpoint that way it doesn't hold pages till it understand if it's safe or not rather does the check in the background

Btw please test 10 pishing links here and you will see some won't get blocked by catagoriztion
aa419 - Fake Sites Database to prove it's usefulness

(They seem to seem to find sites that actually are hardly detected by security solutions)

Yes it you test open pish with for example 250 links checkpoint alone usually blocks 100%-90+ But the links in artists against 419 seem to really challenge every security solution I have tried

Out : ZoneAlarm Extreme Security NextGen
Back: Trend Micro Maximum Security

Why ?
Because ZA slowed both laptops down like hell.
Oh I thought it worked well on your system so even with plenty of ram it decreases top much performance interesting
I thought it was a ram issue that caused my system to slow down
As you report in your review that it had good performance on your Celeron system

Use the uninstall tool https://download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/support/dl_stg/ZangClean.exe
If somehow it's still on the system then use this guide Stop managing or delete Chrome browsers and profiles - Chrome Enterprise and Education Help
Btw checkpoint only slowed down the 8gb ram machine and not the 12gb ?
Oh and what do you hate about the extension is it the annoying zero pishing scanning or something else ?

Every scan takes ages before the download ever arrives the laptop, i dont like extensions that hold something i need to download to scan for minutes.
I know about the uninstall tool, i posted the link here.

ZA is a love / hate program, and now i hate it, it never releases the serial number when reinstalling a computer so have to contact support again, what kind of stupid solution is this.
With TM you can control your licenses online. I just need a system that works with no irritating factors, since i now hardly use my laptop and use my iPad for everything, then when i need to use the laptop it has to work and dont give me headache.

Ipads have great displays great processing power (m4 ) and it's very secure (not because they cared about security rather to stop jailbreaking, piracy they have enabled a ton of different security features over the years)

If you can live with an ipad it's a good choice and personally I have used an ipad more then a PC for years and currently using a tablet (wanted a cheap replacement to the broken ipad and android has improved a ton)
So it's a great choice
Btw about checkpoint you can disable threat emulation or set it to background mode where it will not hold downloads till emulation

About zone alarm license you can see it in about if I recall correctly and the .exe itself has the license information and I actually find it more convenient that way as I don't need to manage a lot of PCs (you can see the license in your online account too )

Of and if I recall correctly the institutions version of zonealarm has online management and if not those that need management or to modify settings should get harmony (14$ for basic and 25$ for advanced per client in the cheapest store I found)

Zone alarm definitely has some things they need to improve and some of those they are working on
Actually if it wasn't good at detecting malware , phishing I wouldn't have recommended it at all and for now I can only for some users

Yes trend micro not having all the advanced emulation , zero pishing etc is more convenient
But I'm certain it will detect much less pishing sites and probably malware too so hmm everything has pros and cons
