Here is 2 search engines that I use for privacy and safety.

one is called Ortigra and it is not only private and secure search engine but it has incognito proxy privacy of results that you can use to access. It also has optional parental control that you can use.

link: http://ortigra.com/

Second one is called privatesearch.net and its also is private and secure and it has a view by our proxy mode for the result that is a VPN and masks your location to GERMANY and else.

link: https://privatesearch.net/

I use ortigra for my home page and privatesearch for my browser search engine. Its great.

Combine this with zenmate free unlimited VPN extension in chrome and you have one of the great private and secure browser out there.

First i would like to point out, that mentioning Chrome and Privacy together in a sentence, will make me laugh every time..

Second, can you verify more then just the Domain ownership, is there any extended validation taking place with these sites? Things to consider before blindly trusting any site or software..

Well it should not be chrome only but CHROME BASED BROWSERS AND MAXTHON. You can use sr iron comodo dragon with these and my search so far has shown these to be trusted, but its up-to you guys. Unlike google, yahoo, duckdock that track you and have tracking cookies these do not.

Ortigra is developed by a group of young enterprenurs and is run as private. ALso your searches will result in helping hungry children get rice. They offer to donate certain amount o rice grain for each search result.

Still compare to google and other big ones its much better as it filters your search from google tracking as hey mention.

"They offer to donate certain amount o rice grain for each search result." - Anyone can make this statement, also why aren't the global statistics decreasing if what they claim are true, or at least their stats they collect from this cause.

I found a bunch of links, they offer a web browser too?
"Get a fast, free web browser" - Chrome Browser says the same thing. Ha
Edit: Titanium uses version 28.x of Chrome/Chromium.

Code:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ortigra/374411176003040
http://sourceforge.net/projects/titaniumweb/
http://titaniumbrowser.com/ - Old site, 2009 - unrelated?
http://ortigra.com/?a=titanium - Titanium Browser (copy of Google.com/Chrome) ?

I'll let you decide, but I think they're using Social + Poverty as a way to increase users. It may not be bad, but most tactics in the past have been scams. So I'm always wary now. Bit like those every Like, we'll donate $0.0x to charity scams.

What I'm saying, I want to see proof, because I even decide using their facilities.

Thanks. :D

Well good for you. I have been using this for 6 months now and am very happy with it. Also the privatesearch .net search engine is the one that I am most found of because of the inbuilt VPN I could get to be anonymous. Both offered proxies and vpn that I used to access blocked sites or those filtered.

Anyway its upto the people to use what they want. But for me I rather use these then risky google, yahoo, duckydock, bing and others.
