Solved uBlock origin updage bug for AdGuard lists

I'm currently testing Cloudflare Zero Trust with HaGeZi Pro++ blocklist. Works great so far. Basically my own private DNS resolver with ad blocking.
It's available also for ControlD free plan, ranging from light to ultimate, in addition to a separate TIF plan.

Yes, it is. And I originally used ControlD system-wide. However, they don't have servers in South Europe which results in higher response time, as well as some questionable routing.

Then I started using combination of Cloudflare DNS with HaGeZi Pro++ in uBlock Origin and this combination works fine. Though I prefer to block requests before they hit my internet connection so that's why I'm trying Cloudflare Zero Trust with HaGeZi list. I get response time of Cloudflare DNS and blocklist from HaGeZi.

You must have gamers home; they do not offer any servers near to Egypt, however, I find the response time acceptable for browsing.

DNS doesn't have to do anything with gaming, simply with resolving domain queries.

Ping freedns.controld.com and then visit dnscheck.tools. At the bottom left, there will be response time. Then just calculate ping+response time=how fast DNS is.

So what's the negative impact of distant dns servers you have noticed? On my side, I could not observe significant difference in browsing between the fastest for my area (Quad9) and the moderately fast (ControlD); only Mullvad was less responsive enough to slow down page start of loading time.
That's why I thought you complain of dns server distance due to the effect on gaming ping.

Some pages load instantly with Cloudflare DNS, while with ControlD there's slight delay. On my work Wi-Fi, I can't load Instagram, for example, but I can open it normally when using Cloudflare DNS.

Most probably I cannot feel the difference in page loading, except with very slow servers, thanks to my old hardware and low-speed bandwidth.
