This topic follows the migration from Kaspersky to UltraAV / UltraVPN . ( Kaspersky beginning transition of U.S. users to UltraAV )

In fact, I've just migrated my US license to UltraAV (it's been a long and arduous process, but it's for a good cause).
The AV engine is MaxSecure.
Nevertheless, I find it very light on functionality...
I'll be testing it on video later this week ;) (time to discover it)

Ultra vpn... i think this was a VPN i tested a year ago , which failed on multiple points in privacy policy , speeds , and software configuration also offered life time licenses at that point for i think 30 ? is it a new company made by kaspersky and unrelated or is it literally that company ? as in partnership?

UltraVPN is a US-based VPN service launched by a company called Pango Group (later acquired by Aura). This group also owns Hotspot Shield, Betternet and VPN 360. They probably paid the most for the Kaspersky USA assets. Truth be told, UltraVPN/UltraAV is a bad product

Kaspersky security software has begun automatically installing UltraAV on nearly 1 million machines in the United States and deleting itself after U.S. officials banned sales of software from the Russia-based company in June.
Kaspersky customers began raising alarm on various forums and social media sites saying they did not expect the new antivirus to be installed on their computers.
“Nearly had a heart attack when I started my pc today and found a program I didn’t download,” one Reddit user stated.

I'm not saying I agree with that opinion. But there is a lot of mistrust over Kaspersky launching a third party installer and the argument goes that a download link should have been provided and the customer would choose whether they wanted to install Ultra AV or just choose some other product.

true installing third party softwares is a no go.

Just wanted to highlight that the Ability to Uninstall itself and launch a installer , install drivers / kernel drivers and mostly anything else is practically a standard ability of most programs.
your prior comment sounded like that ability is something "odd" or even Outrageous.

AURA, The Pango Group, Ultra - they have US address but the companies are fully owned by Indian technology executives and investors. The companies are Indian. Not US. These people have offered services to the IT industry for decades. They are well known within the industry.
