After running AdwCleaner & RogueKiller, my system started behaving strangely.
I am unable to update Google Chrome.
An error occurred while checking for updates: Unable to connect to the Internet. If you use a firewall, please whitelist GoogleUpdate.exe. (error code 7: 0x80072EE4 -- system level).
Also can't install or run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
While trying to install Anti Malware error pops up Runtime Error (at 79:100); Could not call proc.
I ran FRST and attaching the files herewith. Please help. Thanks.

Thanks for the response TwinHeadedEagle!
I am unable to reinstall or update Chrome.
And Firefox is unable to connect to Internet.
Also, can't run or install any AV program such as Malwarebytes or Norton.
I tried running Chrome Cleanup Tool as well but no use.

Please download Zemana AntiMalware and save it to your Desktop.
  • Install the program and once the installation is complete it will start automatically.
  • Without changing any options, press Scan to begin.
  • After the short scan is finished, if threats are detected press Next to remove them.
Note: If restart is required to finish the cleaning process, you should click Reboot. If reboot isn't required, please restart your computer manually.
  • Open Zemana AntiMalware again.
  • Click on
    4zu6vb.jpg
    icon and double click the latest report.
  • Now click File > Save As and choose your Desktop before pressing Save.
  • The only left thing is to attach saved report in your next message.

    Run as Administrator to start the tool.
  • Wait patiently until the main console will appear, it may take a minute or two.
  • In the main box please paste in the following script:
    Code:
    createsrpoint;
    autoclean;
    emptyclsid;
    emptyalltemp;
    ipconfig /flushdns >>"%temp%\log.txt";b
  • Make sure that Scan All Users option is checked.
  • Push Run Script and wait patiently. The scan may take a couple of minutes.
  • When the scan completes, a zoek-results logfile should open in notepad.
  • If a reboot is needed, it will be opened after it. You may also find it at your main drive (usually C:\ drive)

Upload it in your next reply.

I am attaching the files you've asked for. I made a mistake earlier as I DID NOT run the tool as administrator. Sorry!

I could not run chkdsk C: /r from the command prompt.
Error "Access denied as you do not have sufficient privileges. You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode. "
So, tried it from Windows by selecting & right clicking C drive -> Properties -> General -> Disk Cleanup.
It worked and am enclosing the report.

I do not recommend usage of IOBIT products, they have bad reputation, and are prone to create problems. The company behind this product was found to be stealing the MBAM database. That is why I suggest to uninstall:
- Advanced SystemCare
- Driver Booster
- Game Booster
- IObit Malware Fighter
- IObit Uninstaller
- Smart Defrag
- Surfing Protection

When you see a word "Booster", "Optimizer", "TuneUp" or similar it is often some kind of silly application. You cannot "boost" you system more than it actually is. Microsoft optimized Windows perfectly and they are constantly working on improvements, so these tools are just selling you nothing but "fog".

Only way to actually boost your system is to upgrade your hardware by adding SSD, more processor power or more ram memory.
