If I installed only "network and host exploit mitigation" component of SEP, would it conflict with "network attack blocker" component of K free?

Generally, it shouldn't conflict as they serve different purposes. The "network and host exploit mitigation" component of SEP is designed to prevent exploits, while Kaspersky's "network attack blocker" is to block network attacks. However, to avoid potential issues, it's always best to monitor system performance after installation.

SEP intrusion prevention, as far as I can get, blocks traffic coming out of my PC, while K network attack blocker blocks traffic coming to my PC; however, both act on the same ports!

Even though both act on the same ports, they are looking for different types of traffic. SEP's intrusion prevention is more focused on outgoing traffic while Kaspersky's network attack blocker is more concerned with incoming traffic. There might be some overlap, but generally, they should not conflict. Monitor your system for any potential issues.

IPS blocks malware at the network layer before the payload arrives on the endpoint, as it scans both inbound and outbound network traffic.

After further reading, it turned out SEP monitors inbound traffic (not just outbound), just as K free; any possibility of conflict?
