Hey all :)

For me it hard to say what I am... The best description would be... Average user with knowledge towards being advanced... Compared to an true expert or a geek I am newbi/beginner but if I look how the average user is then I am defintily advance... It all depends what I, as person compare myself too...

I consider myself as advance because I can help people if something is wrong, if they are infected and so on. I can tweak my windows without other program, if I wish to buy a computer I will be able config it for a good price, the next step is to build a computer. The next step is to master cmd, HiJack, OTL, combo fix and some more.

I will update this post maybe; I feel that I have missed something (like I always feel when I finish a thread )

Do you have the sandbox enabled? If so set it to untrusted.

Also, which extensions do you have for Comodo Dragon?

You can try adding Novirusthanks Malware Remover as an on demand scanner.

What would be the benefit of switching the av to "on-access". I thought that the default setting is there to improve resource usage. Files scanned before are not scanned again unless they change. And comparison is done using hashes, which are pretty reliable for this purpose and should have no impact on security.

The General computer knowledge field is there so we can see if we can recommend a HIPS product or not.

I can see no reason to run on-access, although I think stateful isn't a huge resource saver because the stateful flag is reset when the database is updated. Since this can happen as often as every 30 minutes, it's likely only useful for the most often used system files.

Your set up looks solid. You have a good antivirus, with firewall and hips. They're set pretty aggressively as well, which is always nice if you don't mind the pop ups. The only other thing you might consider is Sandboxie because you're on a 32 bit machine, but I doubt you'd really need it. It's up to you, though.
