Vipre isn't the most famous antivirus in the world, but after trying it a few times, I can definitely say it's great, but how does it compare to ESET's NOD32 software? Cast your votes.

Eset has a very good and praised antivirus in their NOD32,but I didn't see this antivirus in the "top 3" in any recent independent tests.
For some unknonwn reason to me , I have never seen a independent test for VA, seems like Sunbelt dosen't subscribe their antivirus engine to regular tests or dosen't see the benefits of independete testing.
I have seen the antivirus from Vipre at work in my personal tests and it performed very good but because this Antivirus hasn't yet been tested by a independent testing organization I will have to say that ESET won's in the "antivirus engine" category.
Like NOD32, Vipre Antivirus Home is light and you'll barely feel his presence on your pc.
I have used and loved "Vipre Antivirus Premium" and I must say that it has one of the best Web Guards on the market, but this is isn't about the Premium version so I'll show you what made "Vipre Antivirus" be my first choice when compared with NOD32

I love web filters from vipre.
ESET good in antivirus engine, instead of Vipre (but Vipre not bad at all), I think.

between Vipre and ESET, it is difficult to choose, but I would choose Vipre.

I prefer ESET since ESET is lighter and I had a better experience with it.

Being so called lighter hardly makes something more secure. Vipre has 24/7 live support, where eset have no support whatsoever. Oh go to wilder security fourm gg

I don't care about Tech Support or whatsoever you call that service, I can solve things myself. FYI, ESET offers Email and Forum Support so stop spreading wrong information right there man,

From my experience my vote goes for Eset. Its Sysinspecter and rescue disk are very good. Eset i think has a better av engine. Again no av can offer 100% protection.

I can't really comment on vipre I know the web filters top notch but that's about all I know lol. My opinion of eset however is that it's severely lacking in malware detection in comparison to it's main rivals.

If you cant read i said wilder security forum

Would have to say Vipre because of all the reviews that I have seen I have liked what Vipre has to offer. Don't get me wrong NOD32 is good but out of them I would choose Vipre.

I'd love to read those reviews, can anyone share a link or two?
Who has the best reviews in your opinions?

i would prefer vipre as i've seen it perform better than eset, and i once tried eset and tested it against some keygens it failed to remove them it was when version 5 was released.do know for now but i use comodo internet security but once again if i had to choose i will choose either avast or norton over these two, esets is just the brand and the fact that it was the lightest av once back but its not the product it used to be ;) just my opinion i know some may disagree ;)

VIPRE. I use it on my config as my fail animated signatures will show, but it's worked very well, is light and has proper HIPS.
