    vipre has improved there antivirus engine. There web protection works great.

    Also they provide lifetime license which can be used on a PC for 20 years.

    But what are the chances are you won't use the same AV for more than 2 years?

    Very true, im constantly switching once or more per year. but it would be worth it if your a real fan of them and want to stick with them and only them. Plus they have a nice 1 year for 10pcs package when most you normally get is 5pcs

    A lot of trial products are limited to 30-days, including Bitdefender.

    They're just more generous in giving away their paid products because they want more registered users, even Bitdefender Free requires an account. IMO, it's just marketing techniques. I mean, once they have your email address, they can send you newsletters, product info and some even register using their Facebook accounts, so even more accessible data.

    Back on topic, I've not used Vipre products.

    I also did not test Vipre technology products.
    I consider myself as a hunting programs on the internet. I´m Portuguese, one of the people who have more sense of crisis and so are not available to pay expensive licenses. Here in Portugal there is no money. We are poor, friend Earth.
