That's the strength for Emsisoft having solid detection, however Emsisoft cannot managed to got a VirusBtn award even before due to False Positives.

true although almost all the players in AV industry with high detection rate also have high false-positive, just check the latest false-positive report from av-comparitives from 2011:

this is not a problem for me personally, if theres an important file of mine gets flagged by my AV then i just send it to multi-engine scanners like virustotal and if i feel like it a false-positive then i just put it in exclusion list. i rather have a powerful detection AV with some false warnings than a low detection with none.

Yes even I do not much care about false positives as a power user I can distinguish if the file is safe or not but on a clients machine its not so. I have to get a good av with minimum disturbance. Till now only Comodo IS that to v4 had given me an fp.
