I'm thinking about purchasing VoodooShield, do you guys think that it will be enough protection with ZAL?

To be honest I am not expert about VS but reading here, if well configured, it is a valid product.
Using it alongside ZAL, can only improve the situation.

Perhaps you could benefit by using Windows Defender with the combination.

That is the combo I am using on one of my machines at this time and seems a good combo, light yet still decent protection.

Also, I'm currently using VS + Windows Defender for some time and I have no problems working very well with each other.
Great Combo! VS in Autopilot Mode + ZAL iIs a good defense and nothing annoying in this configuration.

First of all, did you not think about participating in the VDS giveaway at MT?
Default blocking of any non-whitelisted files/command lines will be done even offline by VDS, but AI results or multi-engine results of VDS and the proactive protection of Zemana both need an internet connection. The combo will be a nice and light one for sure, but there's this concern.
It will be nice to have a good offline protection too, though this is only my thought. If you think that is fine, the combo should be enough. Consider adding Tinywall or WFC as @The paranoid one suggested.

I've been using WD, Voodooshield Pro and Zemana Premium for a few months now. Runs really light, no slow downs. I don't feel I need a third party firewall, Windows 10 firewall is working just fine for me.
TinyWall or WFC are not 3rd party firewalls, they are, really, a better way to control Windows Firewall, especially the outgoing traffic.
