so it took me some time to trace it to "W10Privacy-Block-Microsoft-IPs-used-for-telemetry-data-delivery-24" that was blocking all the images and videos in my steam library and on their website!
I posted the list of IP's of what that rule is blocking if someone more knowledgeable could do some traceip on the steam cdn domain and compare it to the list so that we can find their IP's and whitelist them

Use browser > F12 and select Network. The red highlighted connections are the ones being blocked. If it lists a URL with a script file at the end of the URL, then simply copy-paste the URL into IP Checker and do a search. It will return the IP address. You can figure out which IP addresses are being blocked and whitelist them.

Steam and MS use Akamai servers, IPs are not set, they shift based on the usage. You have to allow the whole IP ranges, which also include IPs for both. It could be done, probably, but you are gonna spend a lot of time on it. Those are mine IPs, but I am in Europe, so Europe's servers.
Code:
72.246.0.0 - 72.247.255.255
104.64.0.0 - 104.127.255.255
146.66.155.0 - 146.66.155.255
216.58.192.0 - 216.58.223.255
To monitor traffic: LiveTcpUdpWatch
To retrieve IP ranges: IPNetInfo: Retrieve IP Address Information from WHOIS servers

Blocking MS based on IPs is an overkill, 10 can be easily blocked simply by the firewall, I do not have a single Windows process allowed. :geek:

Win10Privacy doesn't block all IPs within a range; it blocks specific IP addresses.

And some service providers are using the same Akamai and other cdn servers that Microsoft uses to collect its vast telemetry.
