What comodo needs to improve on in my opinion?

Comodo needs to create a "Lite version" of their free Premium suite.

No Comodo Dragon, IceDragon or Chromodo.

No Yandex Toolbar

No AdTrustMedia

As you already noticed, the leaked alpha presents a web installer (download-on-demand).

And I guess backup/synchronization is affected by CIS ADS feature.

Certain anti virus products, for example Comodo v8, write hidden alternate data streams to newly created files. Unfortunately this has the side effect of also setting the file modification time to the current time. Since this happens after FreeFileSync has copied the files, the next comparison will detect this modification just like any other external change.
To resolve this problem file a bug report on the anti virus software's support web site or use a different anti virus software that does not modify files.

Version 9 utilizes a central database. Alternate Data Streams are no longer utilized.

I dont want exclusions, just be able to do like the "Forced Folders" feature of Sandboxie.

You can set Comodo to auto-sandbox:

• Individual files\applications
• Entire folder contents
  
• Classes of applications - all web browsers for example

You can create the rule based upon file path, hash, etc. You can make the rules as complicated or as simple as you like.

It is the same as Sandboxie as far as forcing programs. You cannot, however, create separate sandboxes like Sandboxie.

The section on how to create auto-rules for the sandbox, starts on p. 393 in the v. 8.2 User Manual.

If you create a rule, in one of the drop-down menus there is an option for FIle Hash. Select that one and you have created a sandbox rule for a file's hash. That's it...
