In your opinion what defines a friend? I.E, somebody you get along with..ect?

For me I consider each and everyone of you my friend, even tho i haven't met anyone of you...(yet?)
i don't believe you have to meet some one to label them a friend?(do you) i have quite a few people on twitter who i speak to, text call them ect... :)

So do you think you have to meet somebody to call them friends? also what dose the word FRIEND Mean to you? i'm interested to see if im the only person that thinks like this :P :heart:

Someone who knows me well and I know well and whom I can trust and is loyal. :)

Someone who doesn't persist on acting like you, speaking like you and copying ideas from you.

Generally someone who is unique and can think for them selves for once rather then counterfeiting your own creative work style.

Loyalty and Trust.

.

I think Friend is someone who You can trust and tell him about everything (or almost about all).

A friend is one that knows all your good aspects as well as your bad ones, and is still there through out both!

In my own understanding of meaning "Friend" is that will accept you through your imperfections, can understand the situation you were suffered and help the times you were down.

I've seen alot of people post here and thought that I might post.

I defined a friend as a person that will not go behind your back and do things that are not acceptable. Also a friend is where someone that can keep secrets and won't go to the person next to them and say "He/she said this". Also some that will stick by you when in tough times, meaning not leave you to defend for themselves.

Another common meaning of "Friend that everyone knows it and have sense.

A friend that will come to you in good and bad times.

- "Hi my Friend , do you have 20 dollars?"
- "No, my friend, i am sorry"
- "ok..., you are not my friend anymore"

Simple , no? :D

I hit bottom and find myself discouraged, broken and alone... I look over my shoulder and discover a friend silently extending a hand...

I've only had found a few of these 'kinds souls' in my entire lifetime... If you've had this experience, count yourself 'blessed indeed'.... but of course I'm the 'ole f**t" in the forum... ;-)

A pleasant query for musing.... thanks for asking....

If a friend is just using you for his own benefits, Treating you like an ATM, Then slash out friend and put waste of time.

If a friend of mine was in need of $20 to buy some milk, bread, butter, toilet paper etc because hes broke and doesn't get paid for a couple days,

Then sure I'd gladly lend it and help out.

But if he wants that $20 to buy cigarettes, alcohol, un-necessary luxury needs, No sorry. I won't support your "habits". :dodgy: Thanks.

I could not agree more. Everyday needs come first.
