Something very strange has happened in Windows.
The size of it was 4GB and the usable is 3.80GB. But now, only 2.93 is usable!!! But on Linux it is 3.8GB usable (Both OS is 64-bit)!!!

Here is the system properties on Windows (2.93GB usable):

And here on Linux (Ubuntu 64-bit and 3.8GB is usable. Here everything is normal):

ok. my advice.
try to repair windows first.
memtest?
try with it.
then you post again here.
how?

1. I think reparing Windows is done by the command sfc /scannow ,right?
2. How can I do memtest? Is it done from BIOS?

First things first Winandlinux before restoring anything. What's running in the background. See if anything is taking up alot of resources.

When I noticed that thing, VMware was running Windows 7. I closed it and I restarted the PC but nothing changed. And also why on Linux everything is normal?

In the Linux bootloader I found one named memtest, can this also work?

RE: [Help me] What happened to my RAM?

This is probably due to the fact that the RAM' is used for your video memory..

Try this :
1) Go to start menu and search for "msconfig" and hit enter.

2) Open the "Boot" tab and click "Advanced Options".

3) Uncheck the box that says "Maximum memory".

4) Restart then click re-run assessment. What does it say now?

No, jack.
I ever had my customers like this also.
maybe it was a mistake of RAM or something like that.
so, I recommend "memtest" first.

if the video memory is not possible. because there is no effect of "use" a reduced video memory in "My Computer> Properties"

Did you re-run the assessment afterwards? There are a ton of reports over the internet of this happening so I highly doubt this is a hardware problem.... Like I've said this is most likely a technical problem.

RE: [Help me] What happened to my RAM?

that's why I recommend to use memtest first.

almost the same problem. but, different solutions, jack.
These are topics that have been completed.
it same as you say, jack.
