My vote Aggressive Hardened Mode

I used Avast with Hardened Mode Aggressive & works good.

I personally feel Avast should enable Hardened Mode Aggressive by default. Allow me to explain why?

Current default - unknown/low reputation analyzed...allowed not detected & quarantined detected.

Hardened Mode Aggressive - unknown blocked....users can allow or keep it blocked.
Currently in Hardened Mode files are not analyzed but blocked...even when excluded, files are not analyzed. I think when excluded, Avast should first analyze the files & on no detection should add the files to exclusion...with this Avast will work as current default but better protection as Hardened Mode is enabled...So Hardened Mode will protect And...(even if users allow, files will be analyzed & allowed or blocked...thats current default).

What you guys say?

I have mentioned this on Avast forums And added a Poll.

Hi So if using avast with cybercapture and secureaplus ,is this overkill or just enough?
avast Cybercapture is just a half-baked feature. It has been proven almost useless in most cases, not reliable as hardened mode
secureaplus is good but unstable. Its fearure is not as good as Voodooshield

CyberCapture needs more work, but it's a cool idea by design. Of course it can't be as effective as Hardened Mode since that one is a very generic way to block things that aren't whitelisted.

As for SecureAgePlus, the latest 4.4.1 version works perfectly fine for me. Universal AV takes a bit longer, but Jotti is always very fast. Had no problems for days running it next to avast!.
