What is this D:\Unk? Is this crucial to the OS? Or is this not needed?

If possible, I want this gone, without formatting the whole drive. Please, haaaaalllppppp!

It might be another drive that came with the computer. Friend of mine had the same deal. Uses it for all of his games. Is there anything possibly related to recovery stuff. I have some computers that have recovery partitions. Not that big though.

There's a recovery partition already in mine. And mine is the same with the "Data partition". That's why I have a belief that this is just another partition with no crucial role in the OS. Also, when I do Full backup of the System through Macrium, this Unk isn't included in the backup process, adding my belief that it is safe to do anything to it. But I want to be sure. :)

Unk is for "unknown", probably some application has created this partition as D drive, or some Windows update/upgrade that has parked some of the files there.
I recommend don't delete it and ignore it :)
Thanks! But is it safe to just hide it?

Another thing, can I exchange the drive letters assigned to E and D? I want my data partition to be D.
