YouTube recommended this AI (artificial intelligence) made short film to me.

To my surprise, it was better than expected.

Better than the 2026 movie Masters Of The Universe and the 2023 movie Rebel Moon, in my opinion.

Once again, it is scary and amazing, how much AI has improved in the last two years.

This looks delightfully insane. The '80s didn't come back; they just opened a dimensional portal and escaped into our universe. This is what happens when a video store, a time machine, and three liters of mescaline have a child.

What I enjoyed most was the atmosphere. It's the kind of coastal town where the sea seems to hide more than it reveals, and where everyone appears to be living with secrets that go back long before the story begins. There's a constant sense that something unsettling lies beneath the surface, not only in the waters surrounding the town, but within its people as well. While there are elements that might remind some viewers of Jaws, it brought to mind The Widow's Bay far more, with its dark undertones and subtle Lovecraftian flavor. This isn't a series for those looking for nonstop action, but for anyone who enjoys mystery, atmosphere, and a lingering sense of unease.
