Researching in to owning a domain ending in .ME

I live in the UK, do you know of any good / reputable sites I could buy from?

Is there anything else I would need to know?

Thanks. :D

I can only speak from my own experience (.dk domains).
The domain is the easiest part, they are all registered the same place anyway so go for whoever is cheapest.
The server part is a bit more difficult, but nothing is stopping you from registering a domain one place and have a server with someone else.
I don't live in the UK so i can't make a recommendation, sorry.

TL;DR: Buy the domain from the cheapest provider.

I recently purchased a domain from Bigrock. Just make sure earth they give privacy protection with domains. This way your email, address and other iinfo wont be seen on whois sites. I would recommend Gandhi.net for you as you live in UK. For hosting you can try Zyma host which is UK based. Zyma is cheap and good. I am using it for my site geekytrix.com

There are a lot of domain registrars in the world. Among all, i would suggest the site XnYnZ.com . Here, you can buy a .ME domain at low cost. They also provide good customer support to you.

Have recently used CrazyDomains.com.au They have really cheap domains and so far I've liked their service.

I will have a look at some on 123-reg. :D

Though now I have a question:

1 Year - £4.99
2 Year - £19.98

Why does the price bump up so much?
