What's wrong with Secureaplus? If anything?

Does Secureaplus by itself offer good protection?

Thanks!

I'm guessing that the first link would be the installer with Offline AV (If you don't have an AV). The second one would be the installer without Offline AV (SAP as Companion AV).
Thats my guess too But I am confused with the mention "Upgrade patch".

The only thing I hate is the offline av which afaik is still clam av (it's fairly heavy in ram if I remember right and has lots of fp's), otherwise SAP is pretty light and does a great job both from my experience and from the reviews i've watched. I still plan on using it in the near future :)

I installed it previously & after sometime uninstalled it...initial scan after 1 hour was at 1% And horrible GUI & Alerts...big tabs & poor choice of color & combination...bad & ugly & messy look.

They should retire the GUI department, heck kids do better doodle & color combination honestly.

I do agree the gui isn't the greatest, but it offers very good protection and without the offline av it is very light as I said before.
Its simply horrible IMHO, fake AVs have much better design.

And popups details are like should I quarantine, should I block, should I click more, lets find the info...its a ride man.

I have said just that in a previous thread lol, something to the effect that it looks as though a group of 3rd graders designed the GUI.
It is very strange the size discrepancy between the installers for US and India, that worries me.

The only thing that I don't like about it is the "referral program", it's shady and it forces users to make positive comments or articles. The more you spam with it the more points you get and you can exchange that for Pro Licenses.

It has a decent protection, but I will not recommended. In the end, my vote is "I don't know" because depends on the user (it also has a few issue with signed malware and PUPs).
