WhatsApp drops subscription fee, completely free

Today I received the WhatsApp message "Service expires: lifetime"

Just checked it said "de por vida". Which is basically spanish for lifetime.

WhatsApp, it's works:

Android : Open WhatsApp > Settings > Account > Payment Info: "Lifetime"

Same here. I was happy that grace period was coming to a close but suddenly out of the blue license is lifetime. I thought I can remove that battery hogging app for good and settle for hike messenger on Wp. But WhatsApp has no plans of giving up to their competitors and my friends are lazy to switch to newer app.
