Advice Request Which Android AV Has The Best Signatures?

I plan to use a firewall on Android, but I also need a good scanner. Who has the best signatures nowadays?

Sophos for free

also i would suggest trying SecureAPlus's android app which includes like 7-8 engines, including ESET's and Emsisofts(Bitdefender engine) and Avira.

bare in mind it's beta, so there are a few issues, but it's really light.

All the choices you list are pretty equal in detection for android.

If there was an option for "All the above" i would of voted for that.

Best sigs? I prefer Norton, AVG (Ultimate), Dr. Web, AhnLab(V3) and Bullguard.

For usability, features I use most (like applock), and being lightweight I like AVG (Ultimate) AhnLab, Panda and Norton.

Overall favorite? AVG or AhnLab IMO.

Agree with u...no surprise since dr web monitors and concentrates in real time not vt detections..
I want to donate some amount to them for their hard work...

Dr. Web, it is the only android AV that I have witnessed to detect things in real life like adwares.

I've had Dr. Web be the only tool to find adware/malware on Android devices. Part of the reason I bought Dr. Web for PC was to get a free lifetime key for Dr. Web Android as 'A free gift for you' promo. It's handy to have around, even if you turn realtime off and just run scans with it every so often.

Kaspersky use it too although it can be uninstalled with Kaspersky it should be optional during install.
