If I was insane enough I would get an iPhone

Since I aint that insane, im happy with my Blackberry bold. Sure it aint really a droid or ios based but does what it says in the tin: Send/Receives Calls/text.

I would go with the Galaxy Y, enough for a phone. If you're a gamer, what I recommend is the Sony Xperia S. Samsung Galaxy SII would be my second choice. :)

Xperia S Specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_s-4369.php
Samsung Galaxy SII specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9100_galaxy_s_ii-3621.php

Here is another Awesome phone! Worth a look. :p : http://www.gsmarena.com/alcatel_hc_800-40.php

Oops I deleted my post, before I saw your reply.

I'll wait around to see what others say first, but thanks for asking.

Guys, if you're suggesting the galaxy sII, which costs a lot already, why not pay a little bit more for the newer and better sIII ?

I think a dual-core is enough for you. If you need any of the SIII or the One X that you mentioned, I highly recommend you getting a case for them as they break pretty easily.

You could get a nokia 5100 (ok that was a joke).

Samsung is known for screen quality/resolution/camera compared to HTC.

A cheaper alternative, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S.

I currently have the HTC Wildfire, and it's okay but not as fast as the latest phones toy have now a days. I would like to get the HTC One. From the reviews that I have read it's a great phone. The specs on it look much better then the Wildfire.

Yea, got the HTC Tattoo (Click) - sucky one in my opinion, but I still don't know if its the samsung or htc

The samsung reviews scores are better than htc one.

I think HTC is a great brand but only thing that I don't like about them is that the one that I want to get costs to much. Samsung though they are a good brand.

Looking at either Xperia P or Lumia 800 (design = appealing).

Need it last, without slowing down or breaking.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks. :D

I don't like the Xperia P, a low capacity non removeable battery (1305mAh), which drains even faster because of the WhiteMagic screen. But the aluminium body is very impressive, it also has scratch resistant glass. Sony is going to release waterproof phones with better specs than Xperia active, called Xperia Go: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_go-4782.php
I think it is going to be durable and survive some falls. Sad to see the battery of same capacity, but I hope its removable. :)

A much more impressive one is the Xperia arco S (not to be confused with Sony Erricson's Xperia Arc S), with shatter proof and scratch resistant glass, as well as being water proof and 1900 mAh battery. Looks to be a high end phone, going with the same way as Xperia S, don't know if you can afford it: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_acro_s-4781.php

Hope I helped you. :)

Anyway, if you want to see an Xperia active test :p :
