Serious Discussion Why Browser Cache Amount Vary Between Different Disk Cleaners?

Today I wanted to clean my device junk files as a monthly regular task, I know using 3rd party tools are not recommended, but I like to use them with caution, so I did a test today to see how much the cache files of Microsoft Edge browser will vary between different famous 3rd party tools and the result was as the following:

Microsoft Edge own data cleaner: less than 320 MB.

HiBit Uninstaller Junk Files Cleaner: 616 MB.

Wise Disk Cleaner: 934 MB.

Wintoys Junk Cleaner: 1.13 GB.

Microsoft PC Manager: 921 MB.

Reg Organizer System Cleanup: 299 MB.

Comparing to Microsoft Edge result, the closest 3rd party cleaner is Reg Organizer (which founds less than Microsoft Edge), while others have double to triple that even Microsoft PC Manager (which is made by Microsoft) and Wintoys (which is described as the safest windows maintenance tool).

My question is why the amount of only one category (which is Microsoft Edge browser cache) vary between these cleaners?

Thanks!

I think what is reported by Edge is not correct; I can see my SSD free space drop by approx 1 GB with daily use, which is retained after closing Edge as it is set to clear cache on exit.

I don't think so, I cleaned the cache using Microsoft Edge built-in tool and rescanned with the 3rd party tools and their calculated results reduced by around 300 MB, so for sure they clean more than what the browser itself clean.

Windows storage built-in cleaner has the same glitch; it reports files to be cleaned of 350 MB for example, but after cleaning, I get more free space by 2 GB.

I think I found the answer, the real folder for cache in Microsoft Edge is located in %localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Cache which size was around 300 MB when I did the test, so Microsoft Edge own data cleaner and Reg Organizer System Cleanup was the ones that show the size related to this folder while others show sizes calculated to other folders that I'm not sure if they need to delete (they will be recreated again once you open the browser).

I set my cache to RAM "disk".
On Linux, I add this to my shortcut:
--disk-cache-dir=/dev/shm/chromium/ --disk-cache-size=536870912

Cache gone when shutting down the PC. :p
