Why Business edition use older engines?

After going through security products I notice one thing from last few days.
Almost all security products use older engine in their endpoint (business) security solution

For example :
Norton still use 2012 engine,eset still 5 and other.

Q1: Why do the developer do so?
Q2: Is there any pros or cons using these products

I think they r looking forword to the Home user and testing of the Beta stage for the AV-compartative.org and Av-test.org TEsts..!!!
