I downloaded Andy yesterday and when I tried to install it today Malwarebytes showed a pop-up and said that it blocked a PUP from running and it was Andy itself. Why is Malwarebytes saying Andy is a PUP? Should I ignore this warning and run Andy or just follow Malwarebytes warning and not run it?

According to Laptopmag's review, its parent company is allegedly an adware distributor. Maybe, that's the reason. To be sure, make a False Positive claim on Malwarebytes to let them know and decide. :)

By the way, what's the exact detection name? Sometimes, a PUP detection name is the answer. If the detection name has the name of the questionable application or anything that relates to the application, then Malwarebytes, most probably, had deliberately flagged the application as a PUP. :)

Adware.

Read user reviews. They complain extensively about adware. You are paying for Andy by allowing adware to be installed onto your system. Andy isn't free. The cost is annoying adware and it isn't even clear if the adware will cease if a user buys something via the adware.

The detection name is PUP.Optional.Install Core. So that means I better not install it right?

I see. So it's better if I don't install it right?
