Why Opera 15 is missing so many things?

I've been wondering why Opera 15 is missing some features?

Just a fast list of things i miss:
- can't input my own search engine (google or google),
- can't edit mouse gestures
- can't modify tab opening behaviour
- can't change the start-up page
- can't change the behaviour/position of the toolbars

Simple. Because it's not Opera, as many know it to be. They've switched to a new engine, so they're sort of starting from scratch. Also I'm hoping over time, they'll return these features.

However, I believe Opera 12.x is still supported (?).

I only use Opera on mobile, actually many functions isn't available for me.
