Go to WindowSwap
Their new website WindowSwap invites users to “open a new window somewhere in the world.” When you click on the button on the site, it opens a new browser window (ha) that takes up the width of the computer screen and is filled with a video of a user-submitted view from their window.
The windows come from all over the world, and they can take you anywhere from a city apartment, to the woods, to the beach. They also offer the pleasure of pet-spotting, as dogs and cats can be seen in a few different windows. Helpfully, the windows also include information as to who submitted them, and where from.
If you’d like to submit your own window, Ranjit’s instructions say to take a 10-minute horizontal video of the view from your window or balcony, with at least part of the window frame in the shot, and send it toqunaliaa[at]gmail.com
