Yo everyone, wondering if anyone's got some knowledge on windows 10 product keys bought from third party sellers or eBay. I bought a cheap key and I know it's most likely too good to be true, but I'm wondering if I could potentially do any harm to my PC by entering the given key. I already have a safe version of Windows 10 installed that's just waiting for a key. I am aware of the product key virus, but that seems like malware someone gets when they download a file. I'm just wondering if the worst thing that could happen to my PC if I punch this key in, is it doesn't accept it? Can someone create a product key that if put in to a computer, can remotely control it and lock me out of my PC? I'm sure I already know the answer but thanks to anyone in advance who can help.
