Qualcomm WiFi drivers problem for Windows 10 May 2019 update

Microsoft supports each build 16 months for Home Users, if you want my opinion you only need to Update Windows 10 once a year, and that is with the first quarter Update.

Obviously is wise to wait at least a month or two before upgrading, to ensure most third-party developers and Microsoft have fixed most of the known bugs.

Is the cycle I use at my Home, instead of upgrading twice a year.

Upgraded just now. The end of the assistant part took a lot of time (the one immediatly before the update) especially between 80 and 100 percent. After rebooting for the first time with the assistant, the update was really fast.

Anyway I have a question. I am running windows 10 home and I have a registry tweak in place to disable windows script host. Why do I need to re-do it each time I feature update Windows? Is there a way to prevent losing this registry value?
Instead, I have an other tweak in place to disable Autorun, and that one remains

That option is reverted for your own safety while upgrading Windows, people messing with regedit and settings they don't understand is what tends to cause most of the issues with Windows Updates.

This newest cumulative on 1903 failed installing throught system updates like 3 times

After that i downloaded installer from catalog, and still failed

Then i just completely turned comodo firewall + kaspersky cloud off & ran installer wich installed the newest cumulative succesfully....was stressfull enough :emoji_cold_sweat:

No problems here with Windows Defender and Hard Configurator.
Maybe Comodo and/or Kaspersky is not ready for 1903 yet

If you do not currently own a Windows 10 device, then you must buy a genuine license which is approx. $99-149. All New PCs come with Windows 10 Home or Pro, with a few exceptions on the Surface line.
That is not my experience. I did an in-place upgrade from 8.1 earlier this year using the MCT to create a bootable USB. Once that was ready, I clicked "setup.exe" (I did NOT boot from USB) and ended up with 1803 (now 1809) with all my programs intact. I see no reason that would not work for 1903 (though it's a bit dodgy to install for many0>

Yes, an Upgrade from a compatible Windows version can be updated to Window 10. However -see the quoted text below- he wants to install a fresh Windows 10 OS without a product key.

From Post #120
[..] can you install a clean copy without a prudoct key??
