Microsoft has released the latest non-security update for Windows 11 22H2. The new build number for this release is 22621.2070 (KB5028254). It includes a number of improvements and bug fixes, including one that will make brightness settings more accurate.

This occurs when the VPN is on a wireless mesh network that uses an aggressive throttling algorithm. Because of this, network performance is poor.

How to get this update:​

This is an optional update that only appears when you manually search for updates in the stable (production) version of Windows 11 22H2.

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. After checking for updates, in the Optional updates available area, you’ll find the link to download and install the update.
