Solved Windows 22H2 fails to install

Briefly explain your current issue(s)

Windows 22H2 fails to install, the the update option is gone

Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful

sfc, update troubleshooter, and a restart

After that, the install option is gone. Does anyone have a similar experience?

It seems that tool is for windows 10 to update to windows 11. But I am already on win 11. But thanks anyways!

It did for me. That's how I updated to 22H2.

I did similar but chose to install the ISO on a USB stick - Then just run Setup & save all apps etc.

Whatever you do make sure you have a working backup before
Only found a german artice but look at the names of the software listed there. They can cause "safeguard holds" that would prevent an 22h2 update.
