People frustrated by the upgrade and set-up process in prior versions of Windows may find a more user-friendly experience in Windows 8.

I didn't have any problems with the Windows 7 installations process , for me at least it was fast and easy but the new updates for Windows 8 look very good.

Beyond offering the new OS on a standard boxed DVD, Microsoft will also make it available to customers via the web. Users can download and even install the product directly online from start to finish.

The web set-up process also integrates the product key, sparing people from having to manually enter it. Users who want more control over the installation can also run an advanced set-up from a DVD or USB key.

The web set-up process looks very tempting as I always seem to lose or scratch the CD....

That's a must, installing would not be very complicated and just a patience in order to finish the installation.
