I don't see why you cannot use a 2-wall Firewall with Microsoft Defender and H_C.

I believe you don't need Spyshelter FW, even more important, it's almost useless to pay annual, but you may purchased long time ago for "lifetime license" of Spyshelter ?

Of course he can, but it is not always needed (depending on many factors).
