I've only used TinyWall, but when it was in earlier stages. I have not used it since, so I can't comment on any noticed improvements.

I'm sure you've been testing a whole bunch of these? What have you found out to be the best, in your opinion?

P

Plexx

I have actually used some.

Ill start off with Sphinx Windows 7 Firewall Control: it was handy, gave me some more control over the firewall but somehow I couldn't have the patcher of 2 of my online games to work (those had no problems with default windows 7 firewall without any adjustments, ESET SS and Comodo FW). Free version was rather limited.

Windows Firewall Control (binisoft): was easy to use and Interface was clean. No problems for my gaming needs.

Tinywall: When I first installed, somehow I couldnt connect at all. After a few hours of going back and forth, decided to uninstall. Well that was also a pain as I couldn't. Had to use a secondary system to check their website to finally figure it out how to uninstall and how to allow the connections (word whitelist did not ring a bell). Once I figured it out how to use, I felt at ease, just like binisoft's one.

Hope it helps

Ok. Traffic light reports Binisofts homeage as Unsafe. I would suggest Wokhan or Sphinx as both are great.
Ok sorry its some problem with Bitdefenders icon. When I clicked on it, it took me to a bitdefender page which said no suspicious activities from this site was detected.
Checked again bitdefendder trafficlight says site is malicious. Even trendmicro says so. Pls do not visit Binisofts site.

I have a full license for Binisoft Windows Firewall Control, great little program and being very actively developed. There a long thread over at Wilders with participation from the developer. I think it is called "Another windows firewall control?"
