I found these online:

Disable Fast Start-Up
->Control Panel
-> Power Options
-> Choose what the power buttons do
-> Change settings that are currently unavailable
-> Untick Turn on fast startup (recommended)

Launch folder windows in a separate process
-> File Explorer
-> Options
-> View
-> launch folder windows in a separate process

Does anyone have any additional Settings or Practices?

The system is pretty stable out of the box. The challenge is to keep it that way. The less you do, the better.
If you apply all sorts of system tweaks that promise to protect your privacy, and speed up your system, and tame Windows updates, etc, etc, you are very likely to impact system stability.

Yup, the less you fiddle with it the better it will run in most cases.
