No Kidding: Windows XP Has Just as Many Users as Windows 10 in China

it runs well on cheap PCs and old PCs.
And it is pretty easy to pirate.
So it is perfect for third-world countries.

Windows 7 was Microsoft's best OS and it kept extraneous stuff and spying to a minimum. You had control of the OS.

Trying to take out the large majority of the Win10 spying was certainly a chore (nearly all 3rd party "free" software for this was spying and/or malware I made my Win10=Win7...Win10 has a very fast boot time though after getting rid of OEM bloatware and spyware on top of Win10 spyware.

Simply because Windows XP is indeed a successful OS created by Microsoft, that numbers for sure are people knew how to setup strong lock down procedures to avoid massive attacks.

Honestly they can go to Linux instead, as it will save more time and effort, just learn the OS itself.
